LESTODON

Lestodon ornatus

Lestodons were giant sloths wich lived during the Pleistocene and dissapeared when this age get over, 10.000 ago. they were herbivorous, and used to be 4 metres long, 1.70 metres tall and their weight were 3 tons.
the fossil evidence I have found, probe that Lestodon ornatus lived in Mar de Ajó during the pleistocene.

Left lower maxillary bone, wich was found near Mar de Ajó. fouth molarifourm alveole can be seen as well as its typical bilobulate morphology.
